Reporting to the Senior Director of IT Systems, this role oversees the full lifecycle of engineering initiatives—from discovery and design to development, deployment, and continuous optimization.
This leader drives the technical strategy for enterprise systems, data platforms, AI/ML capabilities, and integration frameworks. The Senior Manager, Enterprise Architecture & System Engineering ensures all engineering programs are executed with strong governance, reliable delivery processes, and a focus on scalable, secure, high‑performance solutions. The role collaborates closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and cross‑functional engineering teams to align technology initiatives with organizational priorities

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
10 years of hands‑on engineering experience across software, data, or enterprise systems.
5 years of leadership experience managing engineering teams and delivering enterprise‑scale projects.
Proven experience implementing enterprise applications, integration platforms, data architectures, and production‑ready AI solutions.
Strong experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP), DevOps, and CI/CD automation.
Familiarity with Agile, Lean Six Sigma, and change management methodologies.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Advanced technical expertise in enterprise systems, system integrations, cloud engineering, and data platforms.
Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, automation frameworks, and modern data architectures.
Excellent problem‑solving, architectural design, and systems‑thinking skills.
Effective communication abilities across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Strategic Leadership & Architecture
- Define and lead the technical strategy for enterprise applications, data platforms, and AI initiatives.
- Architect scalable, secure, and resilient solutions across enterprise systems, integrations, and data ecosystems.
- Establish engineering standards, development methodologies, code quality expectations, and system design principles
- Own the end-to-end technical roadmap for NetSuite, Workday, and HubSpot, ensuring these platforms scale.
- Lead the Integrations & Middleware strategy, moving the company toward a robust, event-driven architecture that eliminates data silos between Finance, HR, and Sales.
- Partner with business leaders to define requirements and build scalable technical solutions.
- Own engineering strategy, pipelines, and data architecture for all HRIS systems, including current and historical HR platforms.
- Oversee all HRIS integrations, synchronization processes, and cross‑system data flows to maintain data quality and system reliability.
- Design scalable ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions for legacy HRIS datasets to ensure accuracy, lineage, and long‑term accessibility.
- Lead engineering support and innovation for enterprise systems (ERP, HCM, ATS, CRM, finance, legal, and custom applications).
- Oversee the design and maintenance of integration architectures (e.g., APIs, middleware, event‑driven systems).
- Oversee the strategy and execution of data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML projects.
- Build and optimize enterprise data platforms, pipelines, and architectures (e.g., ETL/ELT frameworks, data warehousing, and lakehouse solutions).
- Guide the adoption of AI technologies including machine learning models, automation tools, and generative AI capabilities.
- Ensure high data quality, integrity, lineage tracking, and governance.
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of engineering projects from scope definition through deployment and support.
- Lead engineering teams in designing, building, testing, and deploying enterprise applications, APIs, data pipelines, and AI models.
- Implement SDLC best practices, including CI/CD automation, DevOps processes, and modern cloud‑native engineering patterns.
- Ensure all systems follow cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance requirements.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and technical excellence.
- Provide guidance on system design, coding practices, architecture decisions, and technical troubleshooting.
- Manage staffing, performance evaluations, coaching, and career development.
