What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at SBLM Architects, PC?
SBLM is a dynamic, forward-thinking architectural firm with five integrated studios: Healthcare, Education, Mixed-Use Residential, Retail/Commercial, and Civic. We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join us. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong organizational skills, and acute attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, organize, prepare, and proofread content for proposals, brochures, qualifications packages, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Support the development and execution of marketing plans and advertising campaigns.
- Create and update InDesign and PowerPoint templates with relevant content.
- Serve as a key liaison between the marketing department and internal/external partners.
- Review RFP/RFQ responses and related documents to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Perform general administrative duties, including correspondence, filing, photocopying, and mailing.
- Provide backup support for reception and other departmental needs as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 1–2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign; strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong editing and proofreading ability.
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player with acute attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Design, architecture, or engineering background is a plus.
