Key Responsibilities
- Product & Category Strategy: Develop and own the end-to-end product and merchandising strategy across wholesale and DTC channels, ensuring category growth, brand relevance, and commercial viability.
- Line Architecture & Assortment Planning: Lead the definition of seasonal and core line plans, including SKU count, pricing, product flow, and channel mix strategies.
- Product Development Partnership: Work closely with Design and Product Development to ensure a strong balance of innovation, creativity, and commercial success across collections.
- P&L Ownership: Drive gross margin and category profitability through effective pricing, SKU rationalization, and product mix optimization.
- Market & Consumer Insight: Leverage trend forecasting, competitive benchmarking, and retail feedback to guide product and merchandising decisions.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Digital, and Planning teams to ensure timely and successful product launches with compelling stories and strong in-market performance.
- Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team across merchandising, product strategy, and category management functions.
- Lifecycle & Performance Management: Monitor product performance post-launch to identify winners, retire underperformers, and refine future line strategies.
- 10 years of progressive leadership in merchandising, category management, or product strategy, ideally in fine jewelry, fashion, or accessories.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale product lines across wholesale and DTC channels.
- Strong business acumen and P&L ownership experience with a focus on margin optimization and SKU productivity.
- A sharp eye for design and detail, coupled with a deep understanding of consumer behavior and retail dynamics.
- Proven success collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Inspirational leadership and people development capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Salary : $160,000 - $250,000
