- E-commerce Marketplace Manager responsible for growing Amazon Seller Central and other online channels while protecting pricing, brand control, and channel integrity.
- Owns marketplace strategy across Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, and other channels, with a focus on avoiding channel conflict and preventing internal competition between channels.
- Will also lead product sourcing specifically for online sales, since not every retail item is a good fit for ecommerce.
- Launch, manage, and scale Amazon Seller Central, including FBA and/or FBM.
- Take control of listings, pricing, catalog structure, and content to reduce dependence on Vendor Central.
- Build a pricing and channel strategy that keeps online channels from competing against each other and causing listings to be shut off or suppressed.
- Manage Buy Box ownership, reseller issues, MAP enforcement, and pricing consistency.
- Oversee marketplace performance metrics including sales, margins, TACoS, conversion rates, and inventory health.
- Coordinate inventory planning, replenishment, and forecasting to support online demand.
- Work closely with internal teams to align marketplace strategy with broader retail and distribution goals.
- Source products specifically for online channels instead of simply taking retail items and listing them online.
- Identify products that are better suited for ecommerce based on price point, shipping efficiency, conversion potential, bundle potential, and customer demand.
- Work with suppliers to develop online-specific SKUs, bundles, variations, and exclusive items.
- Evaluate whether current retail items are the right fit for online, and recommend new items when they are not.
- Analyze marketplace trends, keyword demand, reviews, and competitor listings to identify online product opportunities.
- Create sourcing strategies that improve margin, reduce channel conflict, and support stronger online sell-through.
- Work with domestic and overseas suppliers to source products that are more competitive online than current retail assortment.
- Develop a structured multi-channel plan across Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, and wholesale.
- Establish pricing architecture to prevent marketplaces from undercutting each other.
- Create SKU segmentation strategies such as exclusive online items, bundles, and channel-specific variations.
- Monitor and reduce conflict between online channels and retail accounts.
- Proactively manage listing suppression, account health issues, and platform compliance risks.
- Coordinate with sales and category teams so online strategy supports, rather than harms, retail business.
- Manage an overseas team responsible for product images, A content, and PPC execution.
- Set clear goals, timelines, and KPIs for remote team members.
- Review creative work, listing quality, and ad performance, while providing strategic direction.
- Ensure the team supports the overall marketplace plan and online product strategy.
- Improve workflows, communication, and accountability across distributed teams.
- Deep hands-on experience with Seller Central backend, including catalog management, flat files, and variation structures.
- Strong understanding of Buy Box mechanics, Amazon fees, FBA storage, and margin management.
- Experience troubleshooting listing issues, suppressed ASINs, and backend catalog problems.
- Familiarity with transitioning between Vendor Central and Seller Central or operating both in a hybrid model.
- 5 years managing Amazon Seller Central or broader ecommerce marketplace operations.
- Proven ability to grow marketplace revenue while protecting margin and brand control.
- Experience managing overseas or remote teams.
- Strong background in sourcing, especially identifying products suited for online sales.
- Experience in consumer goods, housewares, or branded product categories.
- Understanding of channel conflict, reseller control, and pricing strategy.

- Familiarity with PPC tools, listing tools, and marketplace reporting platforms.

Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
