The Role
To support our rapid growth, we’re seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll ensure the smooth running of our internal technology systems and deliver high-quality support to our employees.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees experiencing technical issues, providing quick and effective resolutions to reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of help desk interactions and analyze patterns to proactively improve service.
- Collaborate with the IT team to roll out new technologies and processes with minimal disruption.
- Translate technical details into clear, accessible information for non-technical users.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years in an IT help desk or technical support role.
- Ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in IT field.
- Advanced understanding of troubleshooting theory, and systematic troubleshooting.
- Previous experience with Hybrid & Cloud environments.
- Excellent working knowledge of x86 hardware platform, preferably HP professional workstations. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve various hardware components. Ability to replace any PC components including CPUs and system boards.
- Proven ability to operate MS 365.
- Strong understanding of Remote Work Systems (VPNs, VMs/AVDs, RDC).
- Familiarity with Active Directory & Group Policy.
- Ability to create and modify powershell and batch scripts for automation.
- Working knowledge of TPC/IP protocol and ability to troubleshoot and resolve various network issues.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support individuals at all organizational levels.
- Customer-first attitude with patience, empathy, and a passion for providing exceptional support.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced & dynamic environment.
- Ability to remain calm with non-technical users and manage multiple requests.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move 20-30lb of load during moves and installations.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site desk side support for desktop-related and end user technical issues at one of our key managed services client locations.
- Provide technical support for desktop-related and end user technical issues for company’s employees across multiple locations as well as remote offices.
- Provide outstanding customer service, IT support, follow-through and resolution with a focus on all end users including issues related to IP phone, desktop, connectivity and desktop applications (Microsoft Office / O365).
- Install, upgrade and remove desktop applications / user workstations; Move computer equipment between locations.
- Set up new workspaces including mounting monitor arms, setting up and upgrading PCs.
- Inventory control of hardware and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot general computer and server problems and ensure all systems, workstations and printers are in working order and operating efficiently.
- Maintain existing and create new support documentation as needed.

Salary : $65,000 - $95,000
