Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials, components, and finished furniture products within the warehouse and manufacturing facility. This position plays a critical role in supporting production operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely shipment of products while following all safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, parts and shipments.
- Unload, move, and store inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse equipment.
- Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production areas according to needs.
- Prepare finished products for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and loading trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Organize warehouse locations and storage areas to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Inspect materials and products for damage and report discrepancies to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and other warehouse or production-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
- Basic computer and inventory management skills preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and material-handling machinery
