A mom and pop feel, with great families. Staff of 13-14 year round with a mix of full time and part time.
- 12 month position
- Center hours are 7:30am-5:30pm
- Schedule is semi set with alternating days opening/closing.
- Required Educational Background/Experience (from OCFS requirements): A Bachelor’s degree in either early childhood education, elementary education with 12 ECE credits, child development or a related field. AND At least one year of teaching experience in a child care center or similar setting AND at least one year of experience supervising staff.
- Ensure compliance with license regulations at all times
- Supervision of all staff
- Interviewing/Screening of potential employees
- Create and promote a positive work environment for employees
- Create and promote a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Observe and document staff development
- Assist in training staff
- Office Management - keeping all staff and children's files up to date
