Role Description The Short-Form Video Editor internship is an on-site role based in Boise, ID. This internship focuses on editing short-form video content that repurposes podcast episodes and related media for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Day-to-day responsibilities include selecting engaging clips, editing and trimming footage, adding captions and simple graphics, and ensuring videos align with brand guidelines and platform best practices. The intern will collaborate with producers and other team members to deliver timely video assets, organize media files, and assist with basic color adjustments and sound sync. This is a structured internship role designed to build practical skills in short-form video editing within a professional podcast production environment.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with a focus on short-form content.
- Ability to perform basic to intermediate Video Color Grading to enhance visual consistency and quality.
- Proficiency in Motion Graphics and Graphics for captions, lower thirds, and simple visual enhancements.
