SB Specialty Metals offers an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, independent individual to assist in Inside Sales. This position is a multi-faceted entry level position with room for growth at our Troy, MI facility.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Troy, MI, for a Customer Service Representative. Responsibilities include managing customer inquiries, providing high-quality support, ensuring customer satisfaction, addressing concerns, and maintaining positive customer experiences. The role involves proactive communication with customers and coordination with internal teams to meet service and product delivery expectations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Customer Service, Customer Support, and ensuring Customer Satisfaction
- Skills in building and maintaining strong Customer Relationships and delivering exceptional Customer Experiences
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage and resolve customer concerns efficiently and professionally
- Strong math skills are required. (Candidates selected for in person interviews will be required to complete a brief math assessment.)
- Proficiency in 10 - Key Data Entry
- Previous experience in customer service or a related role is a plus
- Familiarity with industrial or metals-related sectors is advantageous but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in a relevant field is a plus

- Salary: $40,000–$43,000 per year commission opportunity
