Job Description/Responsibilities
The HR Shared Services Specialist provides a wide range of services in support of the HR Operations function and overall HR Service Delivery Model. This role manages critical team member lifecycle processes—such as onboarding, orientation, internal mobility, relocation, offboarding, and compensation actions—while collaborating with HR Business Partners, COEs, managers, vendors, and team members. The Specialist delivers exceptional customer service, efficient request handling, and subject matter expertise for supported processes.

Qualifications/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- HR Service & Case Management
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries via calls and case management systems.
- Provide timely, accurate, and consistent resolution of inquiries related to HR policies, payroll, benefits, and general HR matters.
- Ensure proper escalation and warm handoffs for unresolved or complex issues while maintaining exceptional customer service.
- Document all HR transactions, including hires, terminations, promotions, and status changes.
- Team Member Lifecycle Management
- Oversee core HR lifecycle activities: onboarding, job transfers, compensation changes, offboarding, and position management.
- Process HR transactions in alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of team member data within HR systems.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with COEs to assist team members with benefits enrollment, payroll inquiries, tax withholdings, and direct deposit setup.
- Work with Payroll to resolve processing errors and discrepancies.
- Development & Performance Support
- Use the Performance Development System (PDS) to support evaluation, planning, and goal execution.
- Promote widespread adoption of PDS and help strengthen the company’s performance culture.
- Use the Career Development System (CDS) to identify training needs and support internal career development through curated learning programs.
- Compliance & Data Integrity
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold data privacy standards in accordance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Ensure accurate and compliant documentation and record-keeping for all team member information.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and workflow optimization to enhance efficiency and service quality.
