Job Title: Senior Program Manager
Location: Oceana, Virginia Beach VA
Sayres Defense is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive a major Navy-wide modernization initiative focused on integrating advanced technologies, data systems, and mission-critical program support.
Job Summary: Directs, coordinates, and manages overall functions of overall contract. Develops and implements strategies, policies, and procedures in the execution of this effort . Evaluates overall management of Western and Eastern Ranges to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Ensures effective coordination across different functional groups and areas.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years managing large scale DoD efforts (>$500M contracts) with a contract staff exceeding 1,000 personnel
- Supporting multiple logistics, testing and IT/engineering functions.
- Resume should include specific references to strategic advisory and policy support, coordination of multiple priorities and personnel across multiple functional areas, strong leadership capabilities and a thorough understanding of program management concepts, procedures and achievement of efficiencies.
- Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibilty
- Experience managing a dispersed workforce and diverse functions in support of large-scale DoD efforts
- Familiarity with all Task Order functions
- Familiarity with ISO 9000:2015
Preferred: PMP certification
Education:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM), or related field
- Desired: Advanced degree in STEM/related field or management/related field
