Sayres is seeking Design Engineer II with ability to obtain secret clearance in in Philadelphia PA.
This is a significant engineering and technical support effort tied to the Navy's propulsion, power generation, and ship systems testing infrastructure located at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. The contract supports some of the Navy's most critical land-based test facilities before technologies are installed aboard ships.
Position Summary (Contingent)
This supports engineering design activities for mechanical, structural, electrical, and fluid systems under senior engineer guidance.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify engineering drawings and models.
- Support engineering calculations and design analyses.
- Apply applicable engineering standards and codes.
- Assist with design reviews and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams to support design execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Industrial Design.
- Minimum 3 years of engineering design experience.
- Minimum 1 year applying engineering standards and codes.
- CAD proficiency required.
- Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain
