Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems including water supply lines, drain-waste-vent (DWV) systems, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct plumbing inspections using cameras and other diagnostic equipment to identify issues within existing systems.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Perform drain cleaning using specialized tools and techniques to clear blockages efficiently.
- Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.
- Adhere to local building codes and safety regulations during all phases of work while ensuring quality craftsmanship.
- Assist with remodeling projects by assembling plumbing components and coordinating with other construction trades as needed.
- Utilize welding skills when necessary for pipe fabrication or repairs requiring metal joining techniques.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with homeowners about project progress and addressing any concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in residential plumbing projects.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, and heavy lifting techniques.
- Knowledge of construction plumbing standards, local building codes, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Experience with welding, drain cleaning equipment, plumbing system maintenance and repair, and remodeling tasks.
- Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly while following safety guidelines.
- Familiarity with water systems management, assembly tasks, handyman skills, and basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude toward clients and team members alike.
- Construction site experience including working on commercial or residential sites is preferred but not required.
