What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at Say-So Speech Therapy, LLC?
Overview:
This is a mixed traveling and virtual part-time position working mainly with pediatrics and some young adults. The population includes children with language delays/disorders, autism, auditory processing disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, and oral motor concerns. Travel locations are in Bergen and Essex counties (e.g., Rutherford and Montclair, NJ), with opportunities in Union County, if desired. It will provide an independent SLP with a multitude of experiences and flexibility!
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person speech therapy in diverse settings (e.g., home, daycare, preschool, in community)
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations)
- Provide tele-therapy via remote platform
- Consult with family members and other professionals working with the patient
- Write treatment notes and progress reports
Requirements:
- NJ State License and ASHA CCCs
- Strong written & oral communication skills
- Minimum of 2 Years of Experience
- Strong clinical & interpersonal skills
