Job Title: Six Sigma Black Belt – Finance & Procurement / Supply Chain

Location: Brentwood, TN – Hybrid (4 days onsite / 1 day remote)

Duration: 6 Months Contract, likely to extend to 12 months

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Six Sigma Black Belt Consultant to support a major business process transformation initiative focused on Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain operations.

This position will focus on business process discovery, workflow documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement. The consultant will work closely with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, vendors, and other business stakeholders to document current-state processes and identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.

This is a business/process-focused role rather than a technical implementation position. Experience supporting processes surrounding an enterprise ERP/Oracle Cloud environment is highly valuable.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate process discovery and workflow sessions with Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
• Document detailed end-to-end current-state business processes and workflows.
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and cross-functional handoff issues.
• Map Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and vendor-related workflows.
• Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to understand critical process touchpoints.
• Standardize process documentation using established methodologies and templates.
• Partner with senior process improvement/Black Belt leadership to maintain consistency across documentation.
• Support change management and future continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Translate complex business processes into clear, structured documentation.
• Collaborate effectively within a complex, matrixed organization.

Required Qualifications

• Active Six Sigma Black Belt certification – Required.
• Experience in Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related business operations.
• Strong experience with business process documentation and process mapping.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process discovery sessions.
• Strong understanding of cross-functional business workflows and handoffs.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a complex enterprise environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Brentwood, TN, 4 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud / enterprise ERP-related business processes.
• Experience working with vendor-facing processes and third-party partners.
• Manufacturing, operations, shared services, or enterprise transformation experience.
• Previous consulting or organizational transformation experience.
• Experience with Lean, continuous improvement, operational excellence, or process excellence initiatives.

Important Note

This role is primarily focused on business process analysis, documentation, Six Sigma, and organizational process improvement. It is not a technical Oracle implementation/development role.
