Seeking a CI/CD Automation Engineer with supporting ancillary infrastructure management skillsets for a large Agile development program. The candidate will be primarily focused on implementing and supporting CI/CD automation for the program. Secondarily, the candidate will support on-prem infrastructure, remediate vulnerabilities, and maintain cloud-based environments.
currently seeking a CI/CD Automation Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and support CI/CD automation for the program
- Support on-prem infrastructure, remediate vulnerabilities, and maintain cloud-based environments
- Maintain high standards of software quality as a control point for code delivery
- Understand and troubleshoot complex CI and CD automation implementations
- Drive developers to adopt best practices
- Package and support deployment of releases
- Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications
Requirements:
- 7 years in Information Technology
- 5 years developing, implementing, supporting CI and/or CD solutions
- Experience with source control management systems and code-branching strategies
- Experience with one or more scripting or low-level programming language
- Experience with agile development methodologies including Kanban and Scrum
- Possess strong analytical, research, technical, and problem-solving capabilities, and a demonstrated ability to broadly apply these skills
- Autonomous/self-starter
- Thorough and focused work efforts with strong attention to detail
- Highly professional with strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proficiency in one of the following disciplines: Salesforce or Unix-based Operating Systems.
- Solid grasp of SSH and TLS concepts (SSH keys, certificates, etc.)
- Salesforce Administration or Unix-Based Operating System Fundamentals
Desired skills:
- Experience developing complex build/deployment solutions using tools such as: Jenkins, Artifactory, CodeScan, Ansible Automation Platform, ANT, XLR, and Octane
- Exposure to enterprise monitoring technologies (Splunk, App Dynamics)
