We are looking for a skilled and motivated Tax Manager to join our growing practice in the Morganville, NJ office. This role follows a hybrid schedule, but we are also open to fully remote candidates outside of NJ. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded tax generalist with strong technical knowledge across multiple tax return types and a proven ability to manage client engagements, review complex returns, and support team development.
Key Responsibilities
New Jersey Pay Range: $130,000 USD - $150,000 USD
New York Pay Range: $130,000 USD - $150,000 USD

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review a variety of tax engagements, with a primary focus on business returns and some individual returns.
- Review and oversee preparation of federal and state tax returns.
- Provide technical guidance on tax compliance, planning strategies, and industry best practices.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and timely communication.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff and senior associates.
- Assist with tax research and provide recommendations to resolve complex tax issues.
- Facilitate workflow management, including planning, budgeting, and meeting engagement deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s in Taxation preferred.
- CPA License is preferred, but not a requirement.
- 5 years of public accounting experience.
- Strong technical tax knowledge across individual, corporate (C & S Corp), and partnership taxation.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing complex returns.
- Excellent organizational, supervisory, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
