What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Chef position at Sawtooth Kitchen?
Sawtooth Kitchen in downtown Hanover, NH is hiring for a new Chef. We are a from-scratch seasonal American comfort food restaurant in a revamped basement space that is also a live music venue with something going on most days of the week. We are looking for someone for 45-50 hours a week to take over all responsibilities of managing our kitchen.
Your responsibilities would include:
Ordering
Scheduling
Ensuring smooth and efficient service by means of expediting and occasionally filling in on the line
Managing the kitchen staff and ensuring clear communication with FOH
Creating and executing regular specials
Creating and executing seasonal menu changes
Generally ensuring smooth operations in the BOH
