Sawmill Heights Apartments is seeking an experienced Property Manager to lead a small team and oversee a small portfolio of 100 units. Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of assigned properties including property inspections
  • Assign, schedule, and ensuring completion of maintenance requests
  • Manage capital projects, tenant improvements, and maintenance emergencies
  • Negotiate bids and coordinate work with multiple vendors
  • Negotiate new leases and renewals
  • Ensure proper organization and detailed record keeping
  • Build client and tenant loyalty through quick responses, customer service and follow-through
  • Handle client interactions with courtesy, sensitivity and the ability to defuse situations
  • Accomplish financial goals while maintaining positive relationships with tenants and owners

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relative field a plus
  • 3 years’ experience as Property Manager
  • Knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures for federal, state and local housing laws.
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Proficient in Property Management software (Yardi, AppFolio or similar)

Salary & Benefits:

  • $80,000 - $85,000 commensurate with experience. Bonus opportunities

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours, M-F

Daily access to personal vehicle for work related duties is required; therefore, the applicant shall maintain a valid, state-issued driver's license and shall maintain appropriate insurance at all times.

  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • College Educated

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Real Estate License (Preferred)
  • Property Management Accreditation (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
