Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care
Location: Honakaa, Hawaii
Shift: Varied 8-hour shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights)
Contract duration: 13 weeks
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long Term Care (LTC) assignment located on the site of a hospital in Hawaii. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent assessment skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and provide ongoing patient evaluations
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
- Notify MD/NP of any significant changes in patient condition
- Assist with ADLs and provide direct patient care as needed
- Manage admitting and discharging processes
- Provide care related to:
- Gastrostomy tubes
- Urinary catheters
- Wound VACs
- Nebulizer treatments
- CPAP
- Document all care accurately and in compliance with facility standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Shift Information
Varied 8-hour shift options, including:
- Days: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Nights: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Includes weekends, holidays, and potential OT rotation.
Note: Hours and specific shifts are not guaranteed.
Qualifications
- Active Hawaii RN License (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Previous LTC, rehab, or hospital experience preferred
- BLS
- Ability to work varied shifts and adapt to changing needs

Pay: $2,620.00 - $2,660.00 per week
