Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and sterility of surgical instruments and medical equipment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient safety and support clinical operations through precise sterilization and inventory management.
Duties
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment following established protocols.
- Inspect instruments for damage or defects, ensuring all items meet safety standards before use.
- Manage inventory levels of sterile supplies, ensuring proper stock levels and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, equipment maintenance, and inventory logs.
- Prepare sterilized items for storage or distribution to clinical departments.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of sterilization equipment and work areas as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required.
- BLS
- CRCST
