Salary: $14 - $17/hourWe are looking for a flexible and compassionateDirect Support Professional (DSP) Floater to join our team and support adults with developmental disabilities in our Adult Activity Center. This position rotates across three core areas: Classroom, Vocational Habilitation (Production), and Adult Day Services. No two days are the sameyoull be part of a team that helps individuals build life skills, participate in their community, and thrive in a supportive environment.What You'll Do:As a DSP Floater, your responsibilities will include:General SupportProvide supervision, instruction and support to ensure health and safetyMaintain accurate documentation and follow individual service plansPlan community outings and accompany groupClassroom SettingPlan and implement activities according to individual interests and preferencesMay assist with personal care and feedingAdminister medication and first aid under the direction of a SAW, Inc. nurseAssist with classroom routines and encourage skill-buildingCollaborate with team members to meet individuals goalsVocational Habilitation (Production Area)Coach individuals through piecework and job-readiness tasksPromote work habits like punctuality and task completionMonitor quality and offer encouragement towards goalsAdult Day Services (Activities)Facilitate recreational activities, crafts, games, and community outingsPromote inclusion, independence, and positive social interactionMay need to assist with personal care and medication administrationEnsure participant safety during all events and outingsQualifications:High School diploma or GED.Ability to work independently and take initiative.Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with others.Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the agencys insurance company.Must have reliable transportation with the ability to arrive to work on time every day.Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.Obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid certification.Experience working with the DD population is a plus.Benefits Offered:$1,200 signing bonusWeekly retention bonuses during 90-day introductory periodIncrease after 90 daysMedicalDentalVisionCompany sponsored Life InsurancePaid Time Off403-B w/3% matchPaid CPR/First Aid, medication administration, and DODD trainingSchedule:Monday through Friday, 8:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
