Creative Marketing Director

Savvy is a value creation firm helping privately held businesses scale confidently through embedded executive leadership and a proven system of value creation.

We believe companies become more valuable when they are better led. Our work transforms underled teams into value-building organizations through experienced operators who step into the business, own outcomes, and help founders build businesses worth more every quarter. We have not grown through high-volume advertising or transactional outreach. We grow through trust, credibility, and relationships.

Our clients are growth-stage companies ($10M–$150M) who are selective about who they listen to and who often recognize they need us long before they are ready to engage. Marketing's role is to ensure that when that moment arrives, Savvy is already known, already trusted, and already relevant.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving awareness, generating qualified opportunities, strengthening referral channels, and creating a predictable top-of-funnel for the firm. The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-oriented. They understand how professional services firms grow, know how to turn relationships into pipeline, and can build repeatable marketing systems that support revenue growth.

Savvy believes AI is not simply a content tool—it is a leverage tool. We are looking for a marketing leader who understands how AI changes the economics of marketing, who has moved beyond prompt-writing, and who has successfully embedded AI into workflows, campaigns, research, personalization, analytics, and execution. We expect this role to continually identify opportunities to make marketing smarter, faster, and more scalable.

Marketing at Savvy is not measured by impressions, followers, or clicks.

Marketing exists to create credibility before the conversation begins.

Business Development turns credibility into conversations.

Sales turns conversations into commitments.

Client Success protects credibility through experience.

Our fractional executives deepen credibility through results.

As Director of Marketing, your responsibility is to architect the systems, stories, and visibility that make trust scalable.

Success Looks Like

Within 12 months:

  • Thought leadership, books, workshops, diagnostics, and speaking engagements generate meaningful conversations with high-fit founders.

  • Visibility increases without sacrificing trust, positioning, or quality of opportunities.
  • Marketing activities are measured through leading indicators and optimized based on what actually drives growth.
  • Savvy becomes the first call founders make when they realize their business is underled.
