What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant to the CEO position at Savvy STR Agents?
Job Title: Executive Assistant to the CEO (In-Person)
Location: Asheville, NC
Type: Full-Time, In-Office
About the Role
This role requires executive presence, authority, and the ability to operate as a true partner to a high-intensity CEO. If you identify primarily as an administrator, this role will feel overwhelming. If you identify as an operator who thrives in pressure and ownership, this role will feel like home.
We’re hiring an in-person Executive Assistant to the CEO to act as a force multiplier for a fast-moving founder who is scaling a national real estate and investment platform. The company has closed over $350M in sales in 2025 and is building toward a long-term $3B vision.
You will sit directly next to the CEO. Your job is to create leverage: protect focus, anticipate needs, run interference, and ensure priorities move forward without friction. This role requires judgment, ownership, and the ability to operate independently at a high level.
If you thrive in proximity to decision-making and enjoy being indispensable, this will be energizing. If you need constant direction or prefer slow, predictable environments, this will not be a fit.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
You will manage the CEO’s time, attention, and execution bandwidth.
This includes:
- Owning calendar management, scheduling, and priority alignment
- Managing inboxes, correspondence, and follow-ups with precision
- Coordinating travel, meetings, logistics, and preparation
- Acting as a gatekeeper and filter for requests and interruptions
- Preparing notes, materials, and reminders ahead of meetings
- Tracking commitments and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks
- Handling personal logistics and errands as needed to protect time
- Anticipating problems before they become urgent
- Making decisions on the CEO’s behalf when appropriate
Success in this role is measured by how much clarity, speed, and focus you create.
Who This Role Is Perfect For
- An experienced Executive Assistant who wants more exposure and influence
- A high-agency operator who sees around corners and takes ownership
- Someone currently capped by bureaucracy or limited scope
- A person who enjoys working with a decisive, fast-paced founder
- Someone who takes pride in being calm, organized, and relentlessly reliable
What We’re Looking For
- Exceptionally organized with elite follow-through
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Calm under pressure and comfortable with urgency
- Discreet, trustworthy, and professional
- Tech-savvy with Google Workspace, calendars, and task systems
- Comfortable operating independently without micromanagement
Requirements
- Must be based in Asheville, NC and available in person
- Prior experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or operations role strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability during business hours with occasional off-hours support
Compensation & Growth
- Competitive salary based on experience. The right person will make themselves so valuable that their pay increases by double within a year.
- Paid time off
- Significant opportunity for increased responsibility, authority, and compensation over time
- Direct exposure to high-level strategy, leadership, and company scaling
This role has a long runway for the right person.
