Short-Term Rental Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of rental units, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas, following established procedures.
• Execute floor cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning to ensure spotless surfaces.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment safely and effectively to maintain hygiene standards.
• Implement proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy furniture or appliances to prevent injury.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or damages promptly.
• Communicate professionally with clients and property managers to confirm readiness and address any special requests or concerns.

Requirements

• Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, buffers, and janitorial tools.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle outdoor work environments when necessary.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple properties.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
• Experience with housekeeper management or custodial roles is a plus but not required.
