Mobile Application Developer

Savvee Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Application Developer to support our federal client on-site in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate is a user-focused technologist with experience in mobile app development, UX/UI design, and agile collaboration. As a key player on the team, you will lead the development of an employee-facing mobile application that enhances internal communication, engagement, and productivity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Designing, developing, and deploying a mobile application tailored for employee use.
• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and define user experience goals.
• Ensuring the app aligns with branding, accessibility, and security standards.
• Conducting testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance across devices.
• Implementing feedback from stakeholders to refine features and functionality.
• Maintaining documentation and providing ongoing support for updates and enhancements.
• Integrating backend services and APIs to support dynamic content and user interactions.
• Monitoring app performance and usage analytics to identify areas for improvement.
• Staying current with mobile development trends, tools, and technologies.
• Ensuring compliance with federal IT and data security policies.
• Participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and agile ceremonies.
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, media, software development or a related field WITH ten or more years of relevant experience, OR
• Master’s degree in business, communications, media, software development, or a related field WITH five or more years of relevant experience

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Ten or more years of experience
• Experience with programming languages for mobile applications (i.e. Swift, Kotlin/Java)
• Experience with frameworks and libraries (i.e. React Native, Flutter, Xamarin, etc.)
• Proficiency with development environments such as Android Studio and Xcode
• Understanding of design principles for mobile apps
• Ability to implement responsive and intuitive interfaces
• Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks
• Skills in debugging and troubleshooting application issues
• Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AIassisted tools
• Must have the ability to obtain the client’s Public Trust clearance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A highly motivated selfstarter
• Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills
