SAVtakeOut.com is seeking reliable, professional, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team of independent contract delivery drivers (1099) to deliver catering from local restaurants in Bluffton, Hilton Head, and Port Royal in South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport food and catering orders to various locations in the Bluffton, Hilton Head, Port Royal areas of South Carolina.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure food is transported using a hot bag and pizza jacket to meet expected standards.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company policies to ensure timely, safe deliveries.
• Be sure your name is listed on your car insurance card.
• Keep your vehicle clean and well-maintained, projecting a positive image.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with the dispatch team regarding any issues.

Blocks Available
We operate 7 days a week, and we are looking for drivers with open availability to work 2–3 blocks per week, with potential jobs on weekends too.

• 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Requirements

• Location: Must live within Bluffton, Hilton Head, and Port Royal in South Carolina. If you are living outside of these areas, please do not apply at this time.
• Own Vehicle: Reliable, clean, and well-maintained with valid registration.
• Insurance: Your name must be on the vehicle insurance card.
• Equipment: Must own and use a hot bag and pizza jacket for food transport (a couple of links to purchase bags online are provided in our onboarding email. Photo proof is required before you can start.)
• Availability: Flexibility to stand by during set times to receive orders.
• Documentation: Valid driver’s license, good driving history (verified by an MVR check twice yearly at the driver’s expense), and ability to pass a background check.
• Professionalism: Well-presented, customer-focused, and able to represent our service positively.
• Comunication: Effectively with dispatch, customers, and restaurant staff to ensure smooth order handling.

• What days of the week are you available for potential jobs between 7:00AM to 2:00PM? Busiest periods are Monday to Friday; some weekend delivery jobs may become available too.
• Do you own a large catering/hot bag and a pizza jacket? Both are required before starting work. Cost-effective options from online stores are available in the onboarding email.
