Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time (35-40 hrs/week) – Champaign County, IL

The role
This is a full-time position at 35-40 hours per week, based in multiple senior living community in CU.
Compensation: $70,000–$72,000 per year.

What you'll do
Implement individualized treatment plans outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist.
Bring compassion and empathy to every session, tailoring your approach to each patient's needs.
Collaborate with family members, facility partners, and healthcare professionals to support patient well-being.
Apply evidence-based practice to restore function, reduce symptoms, and prevent injury.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
Contribute your observations to the supervising PT's clinical decision-making.
Uphold ethical and legal standards, including patient confidentiality, at all times.
What you'll bring
Active Illinois license as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program
Passion for working with older adults
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred: experience with fall-risk assessment, geriatric care, and residents with cognitive impairment.
