Job Summary
Savory Catering, is looking for dependable and motivated Kitchen Team Members to join our growing catering team. Kitchen Team Members play an important role in preparing high-quality food, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and supporting successful catering events.

Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, portioning, assembling, and preparing ingredients according to established recipes and standards.
- Help prepare and organize food for catering events and service.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workstations.
- Clean and properly sanitize work surfaces, utensils, equipment, and kitchen areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
- Assist with loading, unloading, transporting, and organizing food, supplies, and equipment.
- Support catering setup, service, breakdown, and cleanup as needed.
- Help maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation during busy service periods.
- Work cooperatively with other team members to complete tasks accurately and on time.
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving supplies and equipment, while following safe lifting practices.
- Follow all company policies and procedures while representing Savory Catering in a professional manner.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurants, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Catering, banquet, or large-event experience is beneficial.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move supplies and equipment.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules as needed.
