Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive our growth in the U.S. market. This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional who understands logistics, technology-enabled solutions, and the value of real-time visibility.
You will own the full sales cycle, build strong client relationships, and position OPUS as a strategic 4PL partner.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the U.S.
- Own the complete sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, platform demos, solution design, proposals, and closing.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of clients by presenting tailored 4PL solutions built on our proprietary platform.
- Partner closely with internal teams to deliver customized, high-value solutions.
- Understand customer pain points and translate them into measurable improvements and clear ROI.
- Maintain a structured pipeline and accurate forecasting in CRM systems.
- Lead commercial negotiations and secure long-term partnerships.
- Support early post-sales activities to ensure smooth onboarding and successful implementation.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments to shape OPUS’ positioning in the U.S.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within logistics, 4PL/3PL, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
- Experience with real-time visibility platforms or tech-enabled logistics solutions is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and modern 4PL models.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise-level clients and partners.
- Highly analytical, proactive, and results-driven.
- Excellent knowledge of the U.S. logistics market and its competitive landscape.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Willingness to travel regularly for client visits and business development activities.
