Position Overview
SAVI EHS is expanding its network of trusted safety training professionals and is seeking an experienced OSHA Authorized Trainer to support current and future training needs. We are looking to build an ongoing partnership with a dependable professional who can represent SAVI EHS during client-facing engagements.
The ideal candidate will have extensive construction safety experience, strong knowledge of OSHA standards, and proven success delivering engaging instruction to construction leadership and field personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver OSHA 30-Hour Construction courses in accordance with OSHA Outreach Training Program requirements.
- Provide clear, accurate, and engaging instruction.
- Incorporate real-world construction safety experience into course discussions.
- Facilitate training for leadership, supervisory, and field-level personnel.
- Maintain required attendance records and course documentation.
- Coordinate with SAVI EHS on scheduling, preparation, and client expectations.
- Professionally represent SAVI EHS during all training engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Current OSHA 500 certification and active authorization as an OSHA Construction Outreach Trainer.
- Established LLC and ability to work under a 1099 independent contractor structure.
- Significant construction safety and field experience.
- Previous experience delivering OSHA 10-Hour, OSHA 30-Hour, or similar safety training.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to provide in-person training in Orlando, Florida.
- Professional, dependable, and responsive.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ten or more years of construction safety experience.
- Experience supporting large general contractors or complex commercial projects.
- Experience delivering leadership or management-level safety training.
- Additional credentials such as CSP, CHST, ASP, or similar certifications.
- Interest in an ongoing training partnership with SAVI EHS.
Engagement Details
This opportunity will be structured as a 1099 independent contractor relationship and requires an established LLC. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, availability, and engagement requirements.
Future training opportunities may be available on a sporadic, as-needed basis. There is no guaranteed volume of work or established recurring schedule.
