SAVI EHS is actively seeking an experienced Bilingual Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to support a large-scale Data Center Construction project in Sterling, Virginia. This individual will support the Construction Manager and project leadership team while helping oversee site-wide safety compliance and fostering a proactive safety culture across all trade partners. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, experience in mission critical or large-scale commercial construction, and the ability to lead site orientations, training, and field safety initiatives.
Location: Sterling, VA (On-site)
Compensation:
• $45.00 – $50.00/hour
• 40–50 hours per week
• $1,000/week per diem for qualified travelers
• Full-Time | W-2 Position
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance across the project
• Conduct documented daily EHS inspections and audits
• Deliver site-specific orientations and safety training in English and Spanish
• Support crane activities and other high-risk operations
• Participate in and review Daily Hazard Analyses (DHAs) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Support project leadership in maintaining a zero-incident culture
• Ensure subcontractors and trade partners comply with project safety requirements
• Assist with development and implementation of EHS plans and safety initiatives
🔹 Minimum Qualifications:
• 5 years of construction EHS experience
• Data center experience strongly preferred
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification required
• CHST, STS-C, ASP, CSP, or equivalent credentials preferred
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital safety platforms
