Job Summary:
The Level VI Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for monitoring, reviewing, testing and reporting on Accounts Receivable interfaces, systems, receivables and billing. The Clerk will recommend efficiencies, prepare analyses, prepare Consolidated accounting schedules, research variances on P&L’s and consolidated schedules, prepare audit schedules, research P&L variances and reconcile general ledger accounts. This position will be responsible for preparing and presenting reports/analysis to upper management.
Responsibilities:
- Performs internal audit of deals to determine if deals are adhering to Save Mart’s policy
- Writes reports using Showcase, Access and Excel to find deals that did not follow Save Mart’s Policy and analyzes these reports to determine additional monies owed to Save Mart and validates any variances
- Reports the variance findings to upper management on a quarterly basis
- Works with IT to prepare and upload monies due
- Reviews deal sheets, agreements, and other documents looking for possible inconsistencies or missed opportunities in the data
- Provides feedback to Deals Management/Procurement to resolve found issues
- Monitors issues until properly resolved
- Performs complex reconciliations of various accounts and systems
- Prepares a monthly summary of all rebates and allowance earned, research variances and distribute to upper management
