We are seeking a motivated Junior Business Development & Sales Executive to support the growth of our Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Building Controls business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn consultative B2B sales while working in the fast-growing smart buildings and energy efficiency sector.

The role involves prospecting, customer engagement, proposal support, and assisting senior sales leaders in closing opportunities.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Lead Development

  • Support lead generation and prospecting activities across commercial and industrial customers
  • Assist in qualifying leads and maintaining an active sales pipeline
  • Schedule meetings, product demos, and customer presentations
  • Follow up on inquiries, proposals, and ongoing opportunities

Customer Engagement

  • Learn and communicate the value of Energy Management Systems and Building Control solutions
  • Engage with facility managers, property owners, and operational teams
  • Support customer needs through clear communication and timely follow-ups
  • Build long-term relationships under guidance from senior team members

Proposal & Sales Support

  • Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and basic ROI or energy savings summaries
  • Coordinate with engineering and delivery teams to gather technical inputs
  • Maintain CRM records, sales reports, and opportunity tracking

Market & Product Learning

  • Develop a strong understanding of energy efficiency, building automation, and smart building concepts
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and customer needs
  • Participate in training sessions and continuous learning programs

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong interest in energy management, sustainability, or smart buildings
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable using CRM tools, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and email

Preferred Skills & Attributes

  • Basic understanding of Energy Management Systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC, or IoT-based solutions
  • Willingness to learn technical concepts and engage with customers
  • Self-motivated, organized, and proactive
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
