Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Equipment Installation: Support the setup of elevators and lifts by helping with assembly, alignment, and securing of components.
- Maintenance Support: Aid in routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshooting Assistance: Help diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues under the supervision of experienced technicians.
- Worksite Preparation: Prepare and maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring tools and materials are readily available.
- Documentation: Assist in recording maintenance activities, parts used, and any issues encountered during service calls.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a mechanical or construction role is advantageous but not required.
- Skills: Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, ability to use hand and power tools, and capability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
- Other Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, willingness to travel for out-of-town assignments, and commitment to safety protocols.
