We’re seeking an Associate Advisor who is ready to grow into a trusted financial professional. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who already has some financial services experience and is actively pursuing their CFP® Designation.
You won’t be starting from scratch. Instead, you’ll join a well-established advisory team with experienced mentors, meaningful client relationships, and embedded planning and trading resources — giving you hands-on exposure to the work of advising from day one.
For the right person, this role is the beginning of a long-term advisory career.
What You’ll Do:
As an Associate Advisor, you’ll support experienced advisors while developing the skills, technical knowledge, and confidence required to become a future advisor.
Client & Advisory Support

Support Lead and Co-Advisors across the client lifecycle, including onboarding, meeting preparation, follow-up, and ongoing service

Participate in client meetings, capturing notes, coordinating next steps, and gradually increasing your role in discussions

Build trusted relationships with clients while providing thoughtful, responsive service

Maintain and update client financial information and net worth data to support proactive planning
Financial Planning & Analysis

Assist in preparing financial plans, reports, and client presentations using planning software

Complete straightforward planning analyses independently while supporting more complex cases with senior advisors

Research financial planning, tax, and investment topics to support client recommendations

Develop familiarity with portfolio construction, rebalancing, trading, and performance reporting
Process & Collaboration

Learn and apply "The Savant Way" and our Ideal Futures Process to support a consistent client experience

Coordinate casework with planning, tax, and wealth transfer specialists

Maintain organized client documentation and workflow to support advisory teams

Support advisors in delivering proactive, high-quality client service
Professional Development

Participate in Savant’s advisor development programs, including Savant Academy

Build technical knowledge across planning, investments, tax considerations, and wealth strategy

Gradually take on more speaking responsibility in client meetings

Prepare for future progression into a Co-Advisor / Advisor role

Role Details
Location: Our Westwood, MA office location, located at 100 Lowder Brook Drive.
Hours: Monday–Friday, standard business hours of 8:00am-5:00pm

What You’ll Need to Be Successful
This isn’t a first job in financial services. We’re looking for someone who already has some foundation and is ready to build on it.
Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

1–4 years of experience in financial services, banking, wealth management, or planning support
-
Actively pursuing or committed to obtaining the CFP® designation
-
Ability to obtain the Series 65 within 3–6 months of hire (if not already licensed

All applicants must be within driving distance to our Westwood, MA office as this position requires in-person support. We are not open to relocation for this opportunity.

Working knowledge of financial planning concepts (retirement planning, investments, tax considerations, estate basics)

Experience using financial planning software and/or CRM systems

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously

Professional communication skills — written and verbal — with comfort speaking in client-facing settings

High level of integrity and commitment to fiduciary standards

Experience in an RIA or fee-only advisory environment

Exposure to portfolio construction, rebalancing, or performance reporting

The expected base salary range for this role in the Westwood, MA labor market is $75,000 - $85,000 . However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
