In this role, you can expect to focus in the following areas:
- Serve as a lead or co-advisor for existing client relationships, helping ensure a smooth transition and strong ongoing client experience.
- Manage and deepen client relationships by delivering proactive service, preparing for and leading client meetings, and helping clients feel confident in their financial plans.
- Support succession and capacity needs within the Central PA team by absorbing client relationships from established advisors and building trust with a detail-oriented client base.
- Partner with Savant’s planning, investment, tax, client service, and other centralized teams to deliver an integrated client experience.
- Participate in business development by building referral relationships, strengthening local networks, and identifying opportunities to grow client relationships.
- Bring ownership, initiative, and strong follow-through to client service, internal processes, and relationship management.
- Use technology, systems, and advisor tools to support planning conversations, strengthen recommendations, and enhance the client experience.
- This position is based in Lancaster, PA, with regular in-person presence needed for client and team relationship building.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, with the schedule driven by client meeting needs. Some weeks may require more in-office time, while others may allow for more flexibility.
- Local and regional travel may be needed, including occasional travel to Wyomissing for client meetings.
- This role offers the opportunity to step into an established client base, support advisor succession, and continue developing relationships in the Lancaster/Central PA market.
The Financial Advisor position typically requires the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field from an accredited college or university; master’s degree preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in investment management, financial planning, or financial services, with demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and financial plans.
- Certified Financial Planner™ designation preferred upon hire or required to be obtained within two years of hire.
- Strong financial planning and wealth management acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly.
- Experience serving as a lead advisor and supporting clients with complex, detail-oriented planning needs.
- A client-first mindset, excellent listening skills, and the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail, timely follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple client needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with business development, relationship-building, and cultivating referral relationships in the local market.
- Wealth management or RIA experience preferred.
- CPA background is not required but would be a plus given the Lancaster client base.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and financial planning-related software.
- All Financial Advisor applicants must have a clean U4 with no disclosures.
- Employment in this position will require a signed non-compete agreement, except in states where prohibited.
