Company Description
The Savannah Wine Institute (SWI), is a wine and spirits academy offering a diverse range of recreational classes, workshops, and professional qualifications for wine and spirits enthusiasts and professionals.
We're entering an exciting new stage of growth. We’re taking SWI “on the road” — expanding our partnerships, collaborating with venues across Savannah, and developing opportunities to bring wine education to cities throughout the U.S. This evolution means a new home base, refreshed branding, and expanded programming.
We’re looking for motivated, creative, and reliable interns to support our growing operations in social media, print marketing, special events, and business development.
We are open to selecting more than one intern based on skill sets and interest areas.

Roles Available
We are hiring across four tracks. Candidates may apply for more than one:
1. Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern
Assist with creating and scheduling content on Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn
Help maintain brand voice and aesthetic
Capture behind-the-scenes content at classes and events
Track analytics and engagement
Brainstorm campaign ideas and partnerships
2. Print & Brand Design Intern
Design flyers, tasting mats, newsletters, signage & event collateral
Support layout and design for print materials used in classes or promotions
Prepare photo assets, alt text, and file naming for SEO
Maintain brand consistency across all materials
3. Events & Hospitality Intern
Assist with setup, breakdown, and guest experience during wine classes and private events
Support food & wine pairing preparation
Help with check-in, ticketing, and customer engagement
Provide day-of support for community events and local partnerships
4. Business Development & Partnerships Intern
Research and contact local businesses for collaborations
Support outreach for private wine classes, corporate events, and community partnerships
Assist with CRM/database organization
Help develop membership and wine club initiatives

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Social Media Management, Content Creation, and Digital Marketing
- Event Planning and Coordination skills, with attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Strong Research and Business Development abilities, including market research and partnership building
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment (combination of in-person and remote)
- Passion for the wine and spirits industry or hospitality sector is a plus
- Proficiency in design and social media tools (e.g., Canva, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
