Position:
We’re looking to add a friendly, experienced and professional sales associate to sell and discuss our gallery’s artists, permanent jewelry, and custom jewelry. The position is based around promoting and maintaining the sales floor, plus helping our customers find the perfect jewelry based on the client’s needs and style. This position is in-person at our gallery on Broughton Street.
Applicants with jewelry experience and knowledge of sales, customer service, or the jewelry industry, specifically metals and gemstones, are preferred.

Hours & Pay:
2-3 days per week, 8 hr [10:15 AM - 6:15 PM] in-person shifts. Starting at $14 per hour.
Duties:
-Opening and closing procedures of the store by unloading and reloading jewelry from our safe each day.
-Daily cleaning of the showroom, jewelry, displays, and check-out areas.
-Engaging clients and facilitating sales.
-Discussing our jewelry, artists, custom jewelry studio, and Forever by SJG permanent bracelet and anklet experience.
-Point of Sale operation and client check-out for purchases from the gallery.
-Client contact and outreach via phone call or text messaging.
-Shipment of online jewelry sales and outgoing repairs.
Qualifications:
-Strong interpersonal and client engagement skills.
-Attention to detail and professionalism in representing the gallery.
-Preferred knowledge of jewelry, gemstones, and jewelry-making processes.
-Ability to use and learn computer systems, including the store's iPhone, iPad, laptop, printer, and Shopify POS.

We specialize in our custom jewelry process and permanent jewelry, as well as feature contemporary, vintage, and estate pieces, as well as locally-made artisan jewelry. Currently showcasing work by seven local artists plus work made in-house, we continue to grow! In our gallery, you will find our collection of jewelry, while in our studio, you will find an in-house jeweler's studio where we specialize in custom jewelry design and repair.
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
