Materials and Logistics Coordinator

Savannah Hardscapes is expanding their team!  We are looking for a Materials & Logistics Coordinator to assist with the logistics and transportation of equipment and materials needed at project sites. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:·         Complete basic tasks for material deliveries and material returns. ·         Assist with maintenance/management of construction vehicles and machinery.·         Help manager and superintendents by handling administrative tasks such as inventory reporting, billing/accounting issues, and coordinating material delivery and storage.·         Perform basic laydown site cleanup, setup, and loading/moving materials.·         Support projects by managing the flow of materials through inventory tracking, unloading deliveries, and organizing materials.Qualifications·         Previous construction material and logistics experience required. ·         Experience operating a forklift needed, skid steer or front end loader experience a plus.·         Must be computer literate. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel spreadsheets, QuickBooks and Buildertrend helpful.·         Must have exceptional organizational and communication skills. Bi-lingual a plus.·         Ability to solve problems, work independently and as a team.·         Flexible and adaptable multi-tasker, able to work under pressure.Working conditionsThis position works in an office, warehouse, stone yard and construction sites.  The employee may be exposed to ongoing construction, various weather conditions and noise levels in the range from moderate to loud. Additional hours may be required based on workload and business need.Physical requirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must also occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
