This manager will oversee staff, manage the restaurant during service, place and receive orders, and open and close the restaurant. - Assist in supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Support employee orientation, training, and development initiatives to foster a motivated team
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize sales
- Oversee cashiering activities, including cash handling, POS transactions, and pricing accuracy
- Coordinate scheduling and shift management to ensure adequate staffing levels
- Lead recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates and participating in hiring decisions
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction
- Assist with marketing campaigns and promotional activities to increase store visibility
- Maintain organized records of payroll, bookkeeping, and administrative documentation
- Support management in budgeting, sales management, and retail math analysis to meet business goals
Requirements
- Proven experience in assistant management or supervisory roles within retail or grocery stores
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS operations, and retail math
- Experience with employee recruitment, training & development, and performance management
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping and inventory control
