- Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations when involved in commercial truck driving or transportation tasks.
- Demonstrate safe lifting practices during heavy lifting tasks such as loading or unloading merchandise.
- Maintain knowledge of pricing strategies to offer competitive quotes while maximizing sales margins.
- Follow merchandising standards to ensure product displays are attractive and organized.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate deliveries, route changes, or special requests.
- Adhere to all safety protocols related to automobile transportation, heavy lifting, and driving regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail store environments or sales roles; military background is a plus for discipline and organizational skills.
- Strong math skills for calculating pricing, discounts, and sales figures accurately.
- Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving or commercial driving preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial transportation is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently using proper techniques.
- Familiarity with upselling techniques and customer relationship building strategies.
- Basic understanding of merchandising principles and route planning logistics.
- Experience with automobile transportation or delivery routes is highly desirable.
