POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Vice President, Sales is responsible for sales initiatives to drive growth, retention and overall client satisfaction through strategic sales plans based on company goals, planning, opportunity development and revenue retention. The chosen candidate will primarily cultivate new business opportunities yet may also be in position to help retain and expand existing relationships.
LOCATION
Remote/hybrid
Employees should remain diligent to remove/minimize safety hazards while at home and connect with leadership if support to remove/minimize safety hazards is needed.
REQUIRED SKILL SETS
- 3 years selling to large financial services organizations or 5 years general B2B sales.
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas is important.
- Previous experience selling to large financial services organizations.
- Proven ability to close sales, develop strong customer relationships and to have personally generated new business opportunities.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess a strong listening and presentation skills.
- Travel is an essential role for this position. (50-75%)
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Software Solutions sales experience is highly preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The type of activities expected to be performed at this level include, but are not limited to:
- Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions.
- Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required.
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
- Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
- Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships.
- Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel, and partner programs.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business is preferred; comparable work experience will be considered.
