Operations Site Production Manager

Savan is seeking an Operations Site Production Manager to support a federal client in a records and information management environment. This role is responsible for overseeing onsite operations, ensuring service delivery, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Operations Manager will serve as a key point of contact for Government stakeholders and act on behalf of the Program Manager as needed. The ideal candidate will bring experience managing site operations, developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and addressing operational challenges in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time-sensitive priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day onsite operations and ensure effective service delivery
• Act as a liaison with Government stakeholders and provide regular status updates and briefings
• Develop, maintain, and update SOPs and operational procedures
• Monitor performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency
• Identify and resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement efforts
• Conduct fact-finding, respond to Government inquiries, and support special projects
• Support training needs assessment and implementation of process improvements
• Serve as acting Program Manager in the absence of the PM
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Operations Management, or related field (or PMP in lieu of degree)
• 3 years of recent experience managing operations or production environments
• Experience supporting federal clients and working in onsite environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including briefing senior stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively under pressure
• Six Sigma Green Belt (or ability to obtain within 180 days)
  
  

Work Location & Schedule

• Hybrid schedule
• On-site presence at Savan Headquarters (Vienna, VA), client site in Washington, DC, and remote work as appropriate.
