What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nightshift Sanitation position at Saval Foodservice?
Job duties:
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of the facility as set forth in our Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP).
- Must operate under strict OSHA safety guidelines. Required to wear prescribed safety clothing and equipment.
- Maintain care of equipment and facility during sanitation procedures.
- Conduct sanitation practices in accordance with U.S.D.A. guidelines.
- Perform tasks within the guidelines set forth in our Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

- Basic Math Skills.
experience:
- Prior sanitation or janitorial experience in a warehouse or food related environment preferred.

- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices as trained.
- Able to work in cool (41 degrees) and wet environment.
- Able to lift 45 lbs.
- Able to perform repetitive movements and standing over long time periods.
- Good communication skills – verbal, written & interpersonal.
- Able to work independently, be well organized and perform multiple tasks.
