The successful Equipment Operator candidate will safely perform the basic tasks required to load, unload, and move breakbulk/bulk products, including aggregates, break bulk (lumber, plywood, building materials, etc.), and containers at our Warehouse in Yulee, Florida.

Here is what you will be doing

• Follow proper safety rules and operating procedures to support zero-tolerance safety objectives
• Operate/maintain heavy equipment, including forklifts and jockey truck.
• Complete and maintain required daily paperwork
• Housekeeping duties, sweeping, washing down of work areas, and keeping restrooms, break rooms, and work rooms clean and tidy
• Assist Maintenance personnel, as needed and directed
• Occasionally work in areas outside of your normal duties, when instructed by Supervision

Requirements of a successful Equipment Operator:

• Must have a Valid Driver’s License
• Be able to read, write, and understand English and follow written and/or verbal instructions
• Physically able to handle large tools, climb on and off the equipment, ascend and descend ladders, and should not have a fear of heights
• Possess Environmental & Safety awareness
• Must be able to work a shift up to 12 hours to include weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary
• High School diploma or GED
• Computer/tablet skills
• 2 years of warehouse, plant, or industrial equipment experience is preferred
• Equipment certifications are a plus
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus

Here are some of the physical requirements for this role:

• Equipment Operators are routinely required to work outdoors and, as a result, are exposed to the weather elements
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to Stand/Walk for long periods of time.
