Here is what you will be doing
- Follow proper safety rules and operating procedures to support zero-tolerance safety objectives
- Operate/maintain heavy equipment, including forklifts and jockey truck.
- Complete and maintain required daily paperwork
- Housekeeping duties, sweeping, washing down of work areas, and keeping restrooms, break rooms, and work rooms clean and tidy
- Assist Maintenance personnel, as needed and directed
- Occasionally work in areas outside of your normal duties, when instructed by Supervision
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License
- Be able to read, write, and understand English and follow written and/or verbal instructions
- Physically able to handle large tools, climb on and off the equipment, ascend and descend ladders, and should not have a fear of heights
- Possess Environmental & Safety awareness
- Must be able to work a shift up to 12 hours to include weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary
- High School diploma or GED
- Computer/tablet skills
- 2 years of warehouse, plant, or industrial equipment experience is preferred
- Equipment certifications are a plus
- Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus
- Equipment Operators are routinely required to work outdoors and, as a result, are exposed to the weather elements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to Stand/Walk for long periods of time.
