Switchgear Project Managers – Remote (California Based Preferred)We are seeking an experienced Switchgear Project Managers to join a fast-growing electrical distributor - based in Southern California.Position: Switchgear Project ManagerLocation: 100% Remote (PST hours; California-based preferred)Compensation: $90K–$115K base salary, and growth incentivesBenefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, along with career advancement opportunitiesAbout the RoleAs a Switchgear Project Manager, you will oversee large-scale commercial and industrial switchgear projects from start to finish. You’ll serve as the central point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with strong margins.This is a high-visibility role with significant career growth potential. Successful PMs here often advance into branch or department leadership positions.Key ResponsibilitiesManage medium- and low-voltage switchgear projects ranging from $2M to $10M Coordinate schedules, deliverables, and vendors across multiple stakeholdersReview drawings, specifications, and quotations to ensure accuracyOversee change orders, track shipments, and manage project profitabilityBuild and maintain strong client relationships through responsive, solutions-focused supportQualifications5–15 years of switchgear project management experience within a wholesale electrical distribution environmentIn-depth knowledge of switchgear products, including ABB, Siemens, Eaton, and Schneider Electric (Square D)Proven experience managing commercial and industrial projects (residential experience considered but less preferred)Strong technical and organizational skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and AdobePreferred: Experience with bidding/management systems (Compas, Empower), transformer manufacturers, or utility-specific standardsCompany DescriptionSavage Search Associates is a full service, family-owned recruitment firm supporting Executive Search, Management, Human Resources, Accounting & Finance, Sales & Marketing, Operations, Construction Management, and Administrative search projects.
