This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a balance of tactical execution and employee support in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOnboarding & OffboardingManage the full onboarding process through HRIS, ensuring all employment documentation (I-9s, training acknowledgments, policies, etc.) is completed accurately and on time.Partner with managers to ensure a seamless first-week experience for new hires.Support offboarding, including separation documentation, coordination of final pay, and collection of company property.Employee Records & HRIS ManagementMaintain accurate and compliant employee records (digital and physical) and ensure data integrity within the HRIS system.Manage updates related to new hires, terminations, and employment changes.Protect confidentiality and uphold record retention requirements.Reporting & AnalyticsPrepare HR reports and metrics, including headcount, turnover, and compliance data.Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all reporting processes.Leave of Absence & Accommodation AdministrationAssist with administering leave programs (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, etc.) and coordinate with employees and managers to ensure compliance and clarity.Workers’ CompensationSupport the workers’ compensation process, including claim intake, communication with employees and clinics, and ensuring timely resolution.Employee Relations (Back-up)Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and consistency.Assist in documenting and supporting investigations in line with company policy and employment laws.Time & Attendance (Back-up)Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with timekeeping policies and wage/hour regulations.Provide guidance to managers and employees on timecard procedures and corrections.General HR SupportRespond to employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies and practices.Support special projects, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function.Qualifications3–5 years of experience in Human Resources; fast pace distribution, manufacturing, retail, or hospitality experience with employee population of 100 is a must.BA, BS strongly preferredPHR or SHRM-CP certification preferredWorking knowledge of HR laws and regulations (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, COBRA, ACA, etc.)Experience using HRIS systems (ADP, Workday, UKG, etc.)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelExceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skillsDemonstrated integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive mattersWhy You’ll Love It HereConsistently recognized for workplace excellence and employee satisfactionCollaborative, supportive HR team with room to growCompetitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a culture that celebrates achievementCompany DescriptionSavage Search Associates is a full service, family-owned recruitment firm supporting Executive Search, Management, Human Resources, Accounting & Finance, Sales & Marketing, Operations, Construction Management, and Administrative search projects.
