FP&A Manager

We are partnering with a growing advanced manufacturing organization that is supporting highly engineered products in complex, regulated environments, who is looking for a FP&A Manager to lead financial planning and analysis across multiple Southern California operations. This individual will serve as a key business partner to senior leadership, driving financial visibility, supporting strategic initiatives, and improving overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Analyze financial results to identify trends, risks, and performance opportunities
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to support leadership decision-making
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and functional leaders to align financial and business goals
• Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis
• Drive data-informed decision-making across the organization
• Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls, and compliance requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Experience in manufacturing/aerospace is a must
• Advanced analytical and financial modeling capabilities
• High proficiency in Excel and financial systems
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Experience

• Prior leadership or people management experience
• Exposure to multi-site or division-level financial support
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor or similar platforms)
• Working knowledge of government contracting principles
