Construction Superintendent (GC)

PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT – COMMERCIAL GENERAL CONTRACTOR Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent from a Commercial General Contractor to lead onsite construction activities and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. The Superintendent is the primary onsite representative, managing subcontractors, coordinating daily work, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and building partners. Strong Base, $800 monthly car allowance, and 100% paid Medical/Dental/Vision/ 401k and Much More! QualificationsMinimum 5 years’ experience as a Superintendent for a Commercial General Contractor (Class A commercial TI preferred).Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering plans and specifications.Strong working knowledge of commercial trades (carpentry, MEP, finishes).Understanding of building codes, OSHA requirements, schedules, submittals, RFIs, and related documentation.Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe; experience with Procore, PlanGrid, MS Project, BIM a plus.OSHA-30, First Aid/CPR, and LEED accreditation preferred. Key ResponsibilitiesLead onsite construction operations, enforce safety standards, and conduct required meetings.Coordinate subcontractors, client vendors, material deliveries, and site access.Review plans and specs; ensure work meets design and quality standards.Maintain daily logs, track manpower, manage field staff time, and support PMs with schedule updates.Oversee inspections with city and other authorities.Manage change requests, track time/material, and maintain accurate onsite documentation.Hold weekly subcontractor meetings and attend client meetings.Coordinate punch-list and project closeout activities to ensure client satisfaction.Company DescriptionSavage Search Associates is a full service, family-owned recruitment firm supporting Executive Search, Management, Human Resources, Accounting & Finance, Sales & Marketing, Operations, Construction Management, and Administrative search projects.
